Let's face it. Stefan Sharkansky has risen, at least in my humble opinion, to Rock Star status in the blogosphere. I bet Mary Mapes is already digging into his background... Did he really show up at those Cub Scouts meetings as he has claimed? What about that questionable math homework back in 8th grade?
Seriously, Stefan did what the MSM people in Seattle/Washington should have done. In a closely fought election, with multiple recounts and ballots popping up every few days out of nowhere, Stefan started asking questions. Questions that an unbaised press should have been asking. Questions that an unbaised media would have wanted aired in public. Stefan sacrificed hours upon hours of his personal time obtaining raw data and sifting it to discern the facts and dirty little secrets of all the flaws, incompetence and malfeasance in the King County elections process. Then thanks to the "new media" of the Blogoshpere, he was able to publish his findings to the public. This is the kind of patriotism and self sacrifice seldom seen since the days of the Founding Fathers.
Mac at Pull on Superman's Cape has a great post with links to Stefan's interview on FOX with Brit Hume. Stefan is at the top of his game. His service to our state and how he is shaping how we view the running of our Republic is without peer. Go check out Stefan Sharkansky American Patriot on Pull on Superman's Cape.
Often those of us who serve in the Uniformed Services are called "Patriots" or "Heroes" sometimes deservedly, most often not. Stefan Sharkansky has "earned his stripes" he is without a doubt a patriot and his efforts are nothing short of heroic.
Three Cheers for Stefan!
