The Spending Lamp is Lit

It's an old Navy tradition that when it is persmissable to smoke to announce over the ships general announcing system (1MC) that "The Smoking Lamp Is Lit in All Authorized Spaces" for January 20th I'm proposing a slightly different twist "Lighting the Spending Lamp".

Mac at Pull On Superman's Cape has pointed out that we must crush the spirits of the moonbats on January 20th.  In direct opposition to a lefty moonbat bleat to not spend one red cent on inauguration day as a protest against the President, the Iraq War, the World Bank, you name it...WE MUST SPEND!

Ann Althouse blogged about it last Tuesday quoting Snopes calling it "Slacktivism" i.e. just do nothing in protest.  She thinks that it has to be a hoax that someone made up just to give those of us on the right some more ammo to make fun of those on the left.  She may be on to something... but sadly, it is actually a real moonbat call to... I was going to say arms... but it's really a call to not do anything...

So in furious Right Wing passion I declare that "The Spending Lamp Is Lit".  We've been holding off on a few home improvement items, guess we'll need to pick those up on the 20th.  And I'll fill the gas tanks on BOTH SUV's.  I'm sure I'll come up with more.  This could get fun.

I have a suggestion on similar lines and I wish Gov'r-ELECT Rossi would from the night before the State Supremes get the court challenge until they rule - have a tent city around the state gov't complex in Olympia. That may also work just as well to get a revote.

Also, have all buisnesses NOT PROVIDING EMERGENCY SERVICES shut down during that time in protest against the theft of the election. No buisness - no tax money - no more bullying and stealing by Gregovych.
