James Na wrote an op-ed in the Seattle Times about conservative bloggers and a blogger party in Seattle. Urge to rant propelling blogs to status of mainstream media (H/T: Seth Cooper @ Sound Politics).
I have to confess. I was at the party. It really was a good time and really hard to believe that there were that many conservative bloggers willing to show their faces in Seattle! Thanks to James for preserving my anonymity!
My favorite lines from James' article: "What is the difference between conservative and liberal nerds? Conservative nerds have guns."
Worth a read.
I too liked the line about conservative nerds, but had a minor quibble with it. ;)

Okay, I must admit. I am the one who instigated the 5.56mm vs. 7.62mm conversation. If I make the news and report about it, is it still news?
Okay, another admission: when I sat down to write the piece, the only thing I had in my mind was the conservative nerds with guns line. I just shaped the rest of the article around it.
So shoot me (not really).
